Thursday Aug 27, 2020
Thursday Aug 27, 2020
It was 4 years ago, to the day, that Colin Kaepernick decide to take a knee during the national anthem during a preseason game as a sign of protest against the racial injustices in the country. On August 26th, the Milwaukee Bucks decided that they would not play in their game 5 playoff match up against the Orlando Magic after the tragedy of Jacob Blake in Kenosha. They led the charge for all other games to be cancelled, and for the greater conversation to be re-surfaced: the racial injustices seen in both societal and systematic institutions. The guys come together to discuss the NBA boycott, why it was necessary, and the next steps that need to be taken for us to see real change.
